Welcome
My name is Leah Carwile. My family and I are proud Campbell County locals. We love our hometown very much and opening a tutoring center to serve all area students is (quite literally) a dream come true. My husband and I live on a multigenerational farm located in Rustburg with our two daughters, two dogs, three cats, and many hilarious farm animals. When I am not teaching I can usually be found completing farm chores, tending my gardens, or cheering at our daughters sporting events. We love where we live and I genuinely love supporting the many incredible people within our beautiful community!
As a licensed educator, with years of teaching experience, I can confidently say that teaching is a highly personal and ever-changing profession. As educators, we strive to connect with our students and families if we even have a chance at making a lasting impact. Being an educator also requires a personal commitment to life long learning with continuous effort to gain the experience and expertise to adapt instruction and meet the unique needs of our students -for today. Opening this center in my local community was an answer to this call. It has not only allowed me to do what I know my students need, but it has allowed me to define, refine, & evaluate the teaching processes, supportive techniques, and gain the expertise I seek as an educator. Best of all... it has allowed me to connect with my students and families on a level that is necessary to fully support them.
Thank you for visiting this site, getting to know The Learning Edge family, and allowing us to support you on your educational journey!
