Does Learning Edge only provide academic tutoring?

A very common misconception with tutoring in our name. No, Learning Edge Tutoring Center actually offers a broad range of educational services beyond academic tutoring! All services are customizable and fully adapted to the specific needs and/or requests of each family. Our services include private & small group tutoring (either in-person or via zoom), formal exam prep, on-demand homework support, a study skills course, and our formal assessments that can pinpoint the instructional level and/or mastery of a specific subject area or grade. We have a lot to offer and the list is always growing! 

How easy is it to sign up for tutoring at Learning Edge?

Very easy! Full enrollment only requires 3 steps. First, reach out to us via email, phone call, text, or online request to schedule your initial consultation. Second, share any necessary information with your tutor that we might need to know to support you with your desired subject or subject area. Third, customize your support plan (with your tutor, of course) to create a flexible and accommodating schedule that is most convenient for your family. Everything else is completed by us, for you!     

Is your building handicap/wheelchair accessible?

Yes! Our center is located on a one main floor that is intentionally arranged to accommodate all visiting students.  

Does Learning Edge charge an enrollment fee?

No. We will never charge an enrollment fee. In fact, all consultations, pre-assessments, and instructional supplies or materials are provided to our students FREE of charge.

Does Learning Edge support PreK-12 students in person, online, or both?

We are thrilled to say both! Our Learning Edge families now have the option of meeting in person or enjoying the flexibility of online support. Both formats are now available to all of our enrolled students and they are also interchangeable at any given time and for any reason. Visit our services page for more information!

Is tutoring available year-round or seasonally?

Yes, our specific tutoring center is open all year! It is very important to us that our students have ongoing access to licensed and experienced support, and that they can maintain their progress when their classrooms is dismissed. Learning Edge students can keep their skills sharp & get a head start! Lessons are provided by appointment with a licensed educator, and their support is fully customized and flexible. Learning Edge Tutoring families may also pause, stop, or restart their lessons at any time, with no binding contracts.
